Brazil, April 2025 – The Brazilian Confederation of Aquatic Sports (CBDA) is proud to announce a new technical partnership with arena, the global leader in high-performance swimwear and aquatic gear.
This collaboration aims to elevate the development of aquatic sports in Brazil by supporting elite athletes and nurturing the next generation of talent.
Beginning this year, arena will serve as the official supplier of uniforms for Brazil’s national swimming team and the four other aquatic disciplines under CBDA’s governance. The brand will also provide top-tier performance products and cutting-edge technology, ensuring that Brazilian athletes compete with the most advanced equipment available.
“We believe this partnership is a key step toward raising the level of aquatic sports in Brazil and providing our athletes with the best possible conditions to reach their goals,” said Andrea Pires, Brand Manager at arena Brazil. “We’re proud to stand alongside CBDA at such a pivotal moment for the sport.”
arena will be present at CBDA’s major national events, including the prestigious Troféu Maria Lenk, hosted at Clube de Regatas do Flamengo in Rio de Janeiro. This event will serve as a qualifier for the World Swimming Championships in Singapore later this year.
Beyond the elite level, the partnership includes initiatives to support and inspire young swimmers, reinforcing arena and CBDA’s shared commitment to the sustainable growth of aquatic sports across the country.
“This partnership with arena marks a strategic milestone for CBDA,” said Diego Albuquerque, President of the Brazilian Confederation of Aquatic Sports. “We are aligning with a brand that shares our commitment to excellence and athlete development. With access to world-class technology and performance gear, our athletes will be even better equipped to succeed in upcoming competitions.”
“We are proud to sign this new agreement with CBDA,” said Peter Graschi, CEO of arena. “It’s incredibly meaningful for us to begin this new chapter in a country where we’ve historically supported champions like Cesar Cielo and Bruno Fratus. We’re fully committed to supporting the Federation and advancing its goals for the next Olympic cycle—to grow the sport of swimming and develop a new generation of champions.”
